The wait for Monday ends now.
The perfect time to start your weight loss journey is right now.
Hey Drip Fam,
Are you still talking about starting your weight loss journey instead of actually starting it?
Are you known for putting together a strong week of consistent effort then wasting it all by binge eating on weekends?
Do you treat Monday as the magical time of perfection where you’ll finally work out, eat a balanced diet, and cut out every bad habit that holds you back in life?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then it’s time to cut the bullshit and get to work.
I know all too well how it feels to wait for the perfect day to chase a dream, only to get to the end of the year and realize that you’ve made ZERO progress.
Chances are if you’re reading this then so do you. So why not pick today to start taking advantage of every 24 hours in front of you?
You’ve eaten enough “last meals”, you made enough 90-day plans, and you’ve told enough accountability partners. It’s time for action.
If you agree, here are a few tips for how you can make every day count on your way towards the best body of your life.
Tip #1: Embrace the weekend warrior
Who says weekends are for resting? Saturdays and Sundays count as the same 24 hours as Monday through Friday.
To build the habit of being great, you’ll have to let go of the “5 days on, 2 days off” strategy that keeps so many people on life’s hamster wheel.
Take advantage of your free time on weekends by running that extra mile, prepping those meals, and setting your plans for the week ahead. This will keep you focused and motivated.
Tip #2: Plan ahead
If you walk into the gym without a workout plan, you’re likely to have a bad workout. If you start the week without a nutrition plan, you’re likely to make poor late night food decisions.
Choose a weekly planning day where you’ll write down the food you will eat and the workouts you will do.
By working and planning ahead, you give yourself a much better chance of success. There’s a reason businesses that plan grow 30% quicker than those that don’t.
Tip #3: Celebrate small wins
Did you wake up early? Did you eat a healthy breakfast? Did you finish a morning task? Celebrate it!
By being proud of the small steps towards a big leap, you learn to love the process of becoming great more than the outcome.
This will keep you focused and motivated when the journey of building your body begins to feel daunting and monotonous.
And those, my friends, are three simple tips that can absolutely transform your life.
Turn them into daily habits and I promise you will achieve any goal that you want.
But remember: the perfect time to start the work is not Monday; it is right this second.
